The Municipal Parking Garage is currently under renovation due to safety precautions after portions of concrete started to crumble at different spots of the garage and some storm piping was beginning to rust and age. This will be the City of Springfield's largest renovation project on this structure since 1991. E.L. Pruitt Co. was awarded the bid for the change out of old interior piping to all new interior storm piping for all four decks of the ramp. The project is expected to be complete early 2018.
